Are the FS4T Courses Worth a High School Credit?

Yes! We offer seven semester-long courses and one year-long course. Each semester course includes approximately 60-70 hours of coursework, while our year-long course, Intro to Filmmaking, totals 120 -125 hours.

The credit awarded takes into account course video content, instruction time, and the time students spend completing assignments, quizzes and final projects. Our Intro to Screenwriting course also qualifies for a high school English credit.

Does the Course Come with a Workbook?

Yes, it does come with one free color workbook per course ordered (FREE shipping). If you would like to order an extra workbook for a sibling, you can find extra workbooks here at our main website https://www.fs4t.com/store

Can This Course Be Done as a Co-op?

Absolutely! Working with your friends can be the best way to do our courses. Co-ops and classrooms are having a blast doing these courses together. Each participating family in your co-op must purchase their own course/login with workbook included. The course purchased will come with one workbook, and each family can order as many additional workbooks as needed.

How Long Does the Course Login Last? Can a Student Get an Extension If Needed?

Our courses range from 12 to 18 lessons, and students have 18 months to complete their course. If more time is needed, we’re happy to provide a free 18-month extension—just reach out to us!

When a Family Buys a Course, Can Siblings Use One Course Login?

Yes! Our courses are designed to be "family-style," so families can absolutely work through them together. Each additional student will need their own workbook (which you can purchase or print out).

Each workbook helps students fill in the blanks as they watch the video lessons and complete assignments and quizzes. By the end of the course, students will have a beautiful portfolio in their workbook, showcasing their work!

When and Where Will I Get My Login Information and Workbook After I Purchase the Course?

Students will receive their course login via the email provided at checkout. Logins are sent the same business day the order is placed or once the order is approved by ClassWallet. (ClassWallet approval may take 15-30 days.)

The student workbook will be shipped and should arrive within 2-3 days after purchase or ClassWallet approval.

What Editing System Should I Use for the Video Editing 101?

In many of our courses, students are introduced to a variety of different programs. While they are exposed to these tools, there’s no need to purchase them unless desired.

However, in our Video Editing 101 course, students are asked to use either iMovie or Premiere Pro. These are the recommended systems for completing the course assignments.
